P4 Physical Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a strong Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our dynamic and energetic Revenue Cycle team in Birmingham.

Job Duties:
Responsible for AR follow-up and collection
- Communicate with patients with billing inquiries
- Work and manage claims from all aging buckets, including posting, appeals, and resubmissions
- Appropriate adjustments
- Responsible for efficiently and accurately posting payments in the practice management system, including checks, EFT payments, online payments, and credit cards
- Pull EFT back-up (EOBs)
- Resolve payment research inquiries
- Reconcile payments posted using system and deposit reports
- Communicate with proper departments for any issues prohibiting adequate allocation for payments to be posted
- Responsible for generating quick bill statements for patient outstanding balances
- Process refunds
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in a medical clinic setting, insurance follow-up, and coding and verification
- Experienced in working with a large volume of electronic medical billing, collections, all aspects of the Revenue Cycle, and insurance coding and benefit verification preferred
- Previous experience with medical software required
- Team player attitude, energetic, and able to multi-task with a focus on excellent customer service
- Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
