Overview:

 

As a Clinical Director Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will be managing the overall leadership and operation of our outpatient clinic in Davenport. With the support of experienced administration, you will be providing outstanding one-on-one patient care, as well as supervising both clinical and office staff and ensuring all APTA standards, policies, and procedures are followed.

What You’ll Do:

 

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team as a full time, part time, or PRN Physical Therapist. While we value leadership for long-term growth, we embrace dedicated clinicians at every stage of their career Journey!

 

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies

What You Have:

 

  • Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current state of Iowa license and CPR certification
  • Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
