Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist at Rebound Therapy plays a pivotal role in supporting local operations and enterprise HR processes in association with USPh. Reporting to the Medical Business Office Manager, this position collaborates with HR Business Partners to facilitate employee development, maintain positive caregiver relations, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

 

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Collaborates with the Rebound Therapy Medical Business Office Manager and HR Business Partners to provide support in human resources functional areas, including departmental development, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Executes tasks in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Offers basic HR guidance on legal requirements for day-to-day employee management, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Upholds the organization's vision, mission, and values, ensuring a safe environment for employees, patients, and guests.
  • Conducts all activities with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Manages New Hire processes, including offer letters, job descriptions, employee confidentiality policies, and welcome emails.
  • Coordinates background check requests, oversees I-9 forms, and related documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, supporting corporate integrity efforts.
  • Regularly maintains the organizational chart and oversees filing and employee file management.
  • Performs all duties in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
  • Participates in special projects and functions within the department.
  • Supports labor relations and other labor-related matters.
  • May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, project management, business, or relevant field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 or more years preferred in an administrative and/or customer support role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Professional HR Certification such as SHRM-CP® or PHR Preferred
