We are currently searching for an IT Services Coordinator to join our growing company. This is a fast-paced environment, so we are seeking a highly energetic individual who is organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently, and has strong communication skills. This role is based at our Corporate Office in Houston Texas.

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION: 

 

The role of the IT Services Coordinator is to facilitate the installation and day-to-day support of the telecommunications equipment and services for our clinics and oversee the ordering, cancellation, tracking, and renewal of all telecommunications contracts.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Locate and install telecommunications services (ISP, VoIP, Fax lines, TV services) when opening new locations.
  • Transfer telecommunications services from one physical location to another for relocations.
  • Disconnect telecommunications services and ensure billing stops in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with on-site technicians to install new services, cabling, and equipment.
  • Responsible for documenting all telecommunications information including tracking all vendor contracts.
  • Responsible for documenting all trouble tickets for day-to-day service issues and coordinating with vendor technical support and on-site contacts to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
  • Upgrade telecommunications services and equipment as needed using established procedures.
  • Research and resolve billing related issues.
  • Provide great customer service when communicating with our clients.
  • Effectively, professionally, and respectfully represent other Information Technology staff members, teams, and their services to the client community.
  • Follow all USPh policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

  • EXPERIENCE:

Experience with ordering and troubleshooting telecommunication services or equivalent training and/or education is extremely beneficial. At least one year of experience in IT support is preferred.

 

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

This position requires handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Customer interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact. Qualified individuals must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to gauge the customer's technical ability then communicate with them in appropriate technical or non-technical language as necessary.

 

  • OTHER BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Experience with VoIP phone systems.

Ability to learn new and quickly changing technologies.

Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within tight timelines.

Ability to operate a wide range of standard office automation products.

Very detail-oriented.

Excellent organizational skills.

Must have a good command of the English language to provide effective phone and email support.
