We Are Seeking:

STAR Physical Therapy is looking for an experienced, part-time, Sales / Marketing Representative with a Bachelor’s Degree to join our team to represent and develop our area outpatient physical therapy clinics. We pride ourselves on our dedication to our patients by living our mission: To Serve.

Our Marketing Representative will be dedicated to making a difference, have a humble and winning attitude, and a background of collaboration and teamwork. You’ll work closely with the company and clinic leaders to grow the referrals in each of your clinics by building and maintaining physician and physician office staff relationships.

Candidates Will: 

Establish and maintain close relationships with new and existing medical referral sources by: 

• Meeting regularly with physicians, physician’s staff, Workers Compensation referral sources, Auto Injury referral sources and businesses in your targeted territories.
• Initiating contact with potential referral sources and introducing them to our services, providers and processes.
• Regularly communicating with current referral sources and monitoring overall satisfaction with quality and timing of services.
• Identifying opportunities to improve patient and referral source satisfaction.
• Maintaining a high level of knowledge about your clinics, their programs, and those of competitors.
• Setting and achieving personal performance goals for clinic volume, new referrals, new client sales and clinic growth.
• Traveling by car to perform sales duties with clients, medical providers and industries within the current network.
• Performing a variety of other sales related duties, as required.
• Analyzing long term needs of the clinic’s social media strategy and providing reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
• Developing digital and print materials suitable marketing and advertising
• Creating new marketing opportunities consistent with our company culture and values.
• Communicating with our digital marketing coordinator to maintain updated clinic information and services on all platforms.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and to understand the needs of others in a sales relationship.
• A minimum of one full year of direct sales experience, preferably in the medical arena.
• A high degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve personal and professional goals.
• Excellent oral presentation skills and the ability to think quickly to apply facts in analyzing a problem and explaining that answer to a group of medical technicians and clinicians.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member to achieve organization goals.
• A high degree of personal organizational skills, including the ability to record and report information and to document work performed.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout our region and work long hours to achieve goals, as required.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
• Candidate must currently reside locally
• Must have a valid driver’s license
