    High School Strength Specialist Needed Grand Rapids, MI !!


    The Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Therapy offers EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES and we are always looking for professional individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for a Part time High School Strength Specialist  in our local High school. New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.


    General Job Description: To assume the responsibility and obligation of establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for all high school sports at one dedicated high school.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Design and supervise weight training and conditioning programs for all men’s and women’s sports at

        High School for in season, off season, and pre-season.


    1. Operate and maintain the weight room.


    1. Teach strength and conditioning classes as needed.


    1. Be responsible for a working relationship with coaching staff.


    1. Be responsible for a coordinated weight training and conditioning program, in cooperation with the

    Athletic Director, and head coaches.


    1. Plan and schedule a regular program of weight training and conditioning practice in coordination with

    the head coach of each sport.


    1. Set up and monitor all rules and regulations that are to be followed by all users of the High

    School weight room.


    1. Recommend purchase of equipment and supplies as is appropriate.


    1. Maintain necessary attendance forms, work out schedules, and progress charts for each athlete.


    1. Oversee the safety condition of the weight room facility.
