U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. ("USPh"), which was founded in 1990, is a publicly held company which operates 579 outpatient physical and/or occupational therapy clinics in 41 states. The Company's clinics provide post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically-related injuries, rehabilitation of injured workers and preventative care.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has a "can do" attitude to join our exciting company as a Credentialing Specialist.

 

Job Description:

 

This role will be responsible for: coordinating federal payer enrollments, assign CAQH #’s to providers, assign provider access to credentialing portal and manage various invoices. The PR Rep will coordinate with clinics and Human Resources as new providers present and serve as the initial point of contact for the department. In general, this role will be a supporting role to the contracting and reimbursement areas of USPh. This role will be based out of our Houston, TX corporate office and will not require any travel as this is an internal provider relations position.

 

Qualified candidates must possess:

 

  • Must have a minimum 5 years’ experience credentialing for large provider group(s) and or payer(s) credentialing experience.
  • Well experienced with CAQH, credentialing database(s),etc.
  • Provide web based trainings for new office managers and CAQH
  • Understanding of the industry from a national perspective as well as a proven track record of success
  • Excellent administrative, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required
  • Be proficient in all Microsoft Office Software Programs
  • Be a self-starter, detail-oriented and a team player
  • College degree preferred
